In Between

On top of a straight hill,

flat lined up with trees,

sit two lonely clouds,

surrounded by blue with nothing to fill.

Flocks fly along the seam,

breaking through the opposite wind,

from two clouds become three,

some are not what they seem.

Stuck in between is a chimney tall,

splitting the sky in half,

long disconnected from its core,

barricaded, inaccessible missing a door.

Puffs of smoke come out,

travel up the hill fast

where they become a cloud,

on an adventure last.
