## Experience

Clear out items, people, things, whole rooms, one room at a time, using your limited limb capacity. The story and puzzles increase in oddity, as you uncover the conspiracies of your new workplace. Made for [Ludum Dare 45](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/) with the theme "Start with nothing" it takes heavy inspiration from Stanley Parable and continues my weird obsession with limited arm controls from [Mgnum 7](/maybegreat/videogames/concepts-and-prototypes/mgnum-7.md).

## Behind the Scenes

At the time I have been drawing and modeling a lot of arms for my long-term project [Mgnum 7](/maybegreat/videogames/concepts-and-prototypes/mgnum-7.md). When LD45 loomed about I used it as an excuse to reuse the existing assets and skills and try combining them with the odd physics controls. Really as with any gamejam I just wanted to have fun and a break from the other project.

And FUN I had:

Getting the hand to behave in a realistic, but fun, but gamepad-capable way ended up taking most of the gamejam time (the weekend). In the last few hours I wrapped it with a little bit of story to make it consumable. I guess I have a tendency [for the same theme](/maybegreat/videogames/charlie-day-experience.md).

This is one of those projects that I like to think back to. A quick, easy demo that could be extended to a full prototype with potential. Fun to design for and hopefully fun to play alone and with friends.
