Hopping Along

On the days when I stuff my face with shrooms instead of solid foods the world forms into a better version of itself.

The last time I befriended a grasshopper. He didn't introduce himself, but his bright hairdo made him my personal Guy Fieri. We've hopped together in the forest, by the lake, and in my plant-covered apartment when it rained. I and Guy were a short-term thing before he found his wings. Were I boozing back then he'd be squashed. Were I high he'd tame me instead. Perhaps I would have then found my wings instead. Fly, Guy fly!
